At almost the same time and on different tables, Bruno Lopes and Ariel Malnik have been eliminated.
In the case of Malnik, Iliodoros Kamatakis raised and Malnik shoved from the button for 82,000. Maxim Panyak reshoved from the small blind for 224,000 and Kamatakis called for most of his stack.

The board came and Malnik ended up third best after going into the showdown with the best hand, joining the rail. Kamatakis is left short with less than 10 big blinds while Panyak jumped above average.
The new level started with far less action at the table and it was Peyman Luth who claimed two pots in a row before folding to the three-bet shove of Andrey Bondar.
Dmytro Shuvanov opened to 18,000 on the button and Luth three-bet to 60,000, which claimed the pot. Then, Luth check-called a bet worth 15,000 by Luiz Duarte on the flop before the turn and river were checked. Luth showed and that won the pot.
The next hand, Luth opened to 21,000 on the button and Bondar's shove for 99,000 in the small blind shut down all further action.
Geoffroy Combette was the last casualty, however one table was still running and that would provide an all in showdown with Peyman Luth and Fabrice Soulier at almost even stacks.
Luth had raised to 16,000 and Soulier three-bet to 42,000 from the button. The action folded back to Luth and he moved all in, Soulier called.

On the flop, nothing much changed and Soulier even picked up an additional straight draw to his pair. The on the turn was a blank, but the on the river let Luth jump out of his chair with a loud "yesss".
Soulier was ready to leave, but the dealer said "you might have more," to which the Frenchman replied with a dry "I know he has more." The stacks were counted and Soulier had 212,000, Luth 219,000 and a mere one big blind more.
In the last hand before the break, Bertrand "ElKY" Grospellier opened to 13,000 on the button and Marius-Catalin Pertea called from the small blind. Hossein Ensan three-bet to 31,000 from the big blind. Grospellier took his time before four-betting to 82,000 and Pertea got out of the way.
It took Ensan not even two seconds before announcing all-in. ElkY beat him to the pot and Ensan's face went aghast.

The EPT12 Prague winner made a big misstep and was about to pay dearly for it in an 800k pot. With just 15% equity, Ensan needed a miracle but didn't find one on a board.
The German had to fork over nearly 400,000 of his stack to the French Team PokerStars Pro, who enters the third break as one of the biggest stacks in the room.
Alexandru Papazian is closing in on a million in chips after forcing Chunjie Liu to the rail. It was a classic situation, where Liu had four-bet shoved with ace-king and Papazian called with pocket jacks.
