Stammdogg's Kings Cracked

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Keven "Stammdogg" Stammen is the latest player who ran out of chips. Down to his last 11,100, Stammen picked up {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} in middle position and went all in. Big stack David Urban was in the big blind and called the shove with {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop already gave both players a chuckle, and sure enough the {9-Spades} landed on the turn to seal it for Urban. Stammen said his goodbyes with a smile and headed out of the room.

Jaka Left Short After Smith Double

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The cards of Faraz Jaka were already in the muck and he paid off fellow American poker pro Dan Smith on a board of {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Smith had the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} still tabled and both players confirmed that Jaka had lost an expensive flip with ace-king to drop down to just 40,000.

Diamonds are Ferioli's Best Friend

Nível 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Isaac Haxton raised to 2,600 from under the gun and Jeff Hakim called, as did Julian Feriolo from one seat over. The small blind also came along and the flop fell {J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. The small blind checked and subsequently folded, while Haxton continued for 3,300. Both Hakim and Ferioli called and the {9-Diamonds} on the turn saw a check by Haxton, a bet of 13,500 by Hakim and a call by Feriolo.

Haxton got out of the way and that brought the {Q-Diamonds} on the river for the two remaining players. Hakim checked and Feriolo bet 18,000.

"Do you have diamonds?" Hakim eventually asked and then called half a minute later. Feriolo turned over {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the nut flush and Hakim nodded.

He got his stack of 22,400 in with {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} against the pocket nines of Day 1b chip leader Gianluca Speranza and got there on a board of {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

Celina Lin
Celina Lin

Celina Lin raised to 3,000 in first position, Maxim Lykov three-bet to 8,100 from the small blind and Lin called. Lykov bet 6,500 on the {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop and Lin called again.

On the {J-Clubs} turn, Lykov kept firing with a bet of 21,500. The Chinese Team PokerStars Pro put in another call, then both players checked the {5-Spades} on the river.

Lykov showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks, Lin tabled {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} for a pair of aces and took it down.
