Yaroshevskyy Busts Selbst

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante
Vanessa Selbst
Vanessa Selbst

As we arrived, Selbst had just pushed all in for a sizable amount of chips on a board of {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}.

Igor Yaroshevskyy called on the river with {5-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Selbst flashed her cards before she made her exit. We caught the {K-Clubs} but are unsure of what the second card was.

Yaroshevskyy told us afterward that Selbst had opened preflop and had fired every street. Yaroshevskyy just called all the way and send the PokerStars Team Pro home with the rivered flush.

Schemion Beat Sends Silver Out

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante
Max Silver and Kenny Hallaert
Max Silver and Kenny Hallaert

Justin Bonomo raised to 1,400 early and got one caller before Ole Schemion made it 6,000 to go on the button. Max Silver took a few minutes to think before putting his whole stack of about 30,000 in. When action got back to Schemion, he called.

Max Silver: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Ole Schemion: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Silver was in good shape to double, but not after {q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades} flopped. He moved to exit his chair after the {6-Hearts} turn gave Schemion a full house, and the {10-Clubs} river sealed his demise.

Schemion Loses Kings to Aces

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

From middle position, Ole Schemion raised to 1,400. His neighbor Dmytro Shuvanov in the hijack called before Nicolas Pouzenc on the button squeezed all in for 9,400. Both blinds released and Schemion contemplated what to do for a bit. He asked how big a tower of 5,000-chips Shuvanov had, and asked how big the shove was.

Schemion eventually four-bet to 16,400 and Shuvanov immediately got out of the way.

Neither player revealed their cards instantly, but eventually we saw it was {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} (Schemion) up against {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} (Pouzenc). The board ran out {3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Schemion parted ways with a small portion of his chips.

Selbst Jams the Flop

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

In a three-bet pot between Osman Aksu on the button and Vanessa Selbst in the small blind, the flop fell {Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Selbst continued for 2,700. Aksu raised to 11,000 and Selbst then moved all in for the last 25,800. Aksu had that covered and gave it some time before sending his cards into the muck.

The table also features Preben Stokkan, Ema Zajmovic and big stack Bradley Marsh.

A Big Double for Loeser

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Manig Loeser raised to 1,500 and picked up two callers in Robert Heidorn on the button and Leo Nordin in the small blind. The {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop was checked to Loeser, who continued for 2,500 and picked up two calls.

After the {J-Clubs} turn, it checked to Heidorn, who bet 8,000. Nordin called and Loeser in the hijack then check-raised to 21,500. Heidorn folded, but Nordin asked for the amount of the raise before tossing in the extra chips. The {4-Spades} on the river saw a check by Nordin and the shove of Loeser.

Nordin asked for a count and the shove was for 31,600, which the Swede eventually called. Loeser rolled over {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the nut straight, and Nordin mucked his cards.

David Peters Eliminated

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante
David Peters
David Peters

Earlier today, David Peters finished in fourth place in the €100,000 Super High Roller at PokerStars Championship Monte Carlo. Peters added a six-figure payday of €630,600 (his fourth six-figure score in 2017 alone) to his massive pile of over $15,000,000 in lifetime winnings.

Peters opted to jump in the Main Event after his bustout, but this time the American giant had to bow out early. On a {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board, Peters check-raised all in with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} against Raffaello Locatelli. Locatelli called with {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and celebrated loudly after the {9-Spades} hit the river, eliminating Peters.

Akkari Hits the Rail

Nível 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Andre Akkari was nowhere to be seen and we asked former table mate Jeff Hakim what had happened.

Hakim told us that Akkari had gotten his last chips in on a flop of {2-}{4-}{6-} rainbow holding {6-}{7-}. His opponent had {Q-}{Q-} and faded Akkari's outs on the turn and river. Akkari wasn't sitting on a pile of chips to begin with, according to Hakim and his neighbor Dan Smith, the Brazlian poker legend had started the hand with about 11,000.
