Kempe Folds to Vogelsang's Shove

Nível 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

On the button, Rainer Kempe raised to 39,000 and Christoph Vogelsang three-bet to 112,000 in the small blind. Kempe called and the flop fell {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Vogelsang continued for 55,000 and his fellow countryman called. The {8-Hearts} turn went check, check, before Vogelsang then shoved the {8-Hearts} river.

Kempe had around 175,000 left and folded. The next hand, Viacheslav Buldygin raised to 33,000 and Kempe shoved for 178,000 to claim the raise, blinds and antes.

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 35,000 and Byron Kaverman defended the small blind to see a flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Kaverman checked, Thorel bet 55,000 and folded to a check-raise worth 140,000 by Kaverman.

One hand later, Kaverman raised to 36,000 on the button and Daniel Negreanu moved all in out of the big blind. Kaverman snap-called and Negreanu joked "Oh, I asked if you were all in" with a smile on the face.

Byron Kaverman: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Daniel Negreanu: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{5-Spades} and Negreanu was eliminated. "Where can I rebuy now?" Negreanu joked to the floor and, when he was told that it wasn't possible anymore, he continued "oh, I would have never played ace five diamonds then," before leaving the tournament area. Kaverman moved to almost one million in chips as a result.

Hajiyev Busts Bonomo to Grow Stack to Over a Million

Nível 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

From early position, Byron Kaverman opened for 36,000. Ramin Hajiyev called from the button, Justin Bonomo called from the big blind.

Both Bonomo and Kaverman checked on {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Hajiyev bet 65,000. Bonomo called, Kaverman folded.

As the {8-Hearts} hit the turn, Bonomo checked again. Hajiyev bet 129,000 and Bonomo needed some time to decide what to do. At one point it looked like he called, but it was, in fact, a time breaker chip he tossed in to add 30 seconds to his clock. He eventually moved all in for what appeared to be 210,000. Hajiyev called instantly.

Ramin Hajiyev: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Justin Bonomo: {K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

The river {8-Diamonds} paired the board but the kicker still played. Bonomo eliminated, Hajiyev the first player with over a million in chips.

Kanit Finds a Double

Nível 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Fedor Holz raised from late position and picked up a call by Sergio Aido in the big blind. On the {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, Aido check-called a bet worth 38,000 before the {2-Diamonds} turn and {K-Diamonds} river were checked behind by Holz. Aido showed {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and won the pot.

One hand later, David Peters raised to 38,000 and Mustapha Kanit, who had just been moved to the table, shoved for 126,000 in the big blind. Peters asked for a count and eventually called.

Mustapha Kanit: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
David Peters: {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The board of {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} ensured that the kicker played and Kanit doubled.

Seat Open for Loeser, Adams and Sammartino

Nível 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

The last four minutes of the level brought three all ins on two different tables and all three players at risk would be sent to the rail.

Hand 1

Fedor Holz raised from the cutoff and Manig Loeser moved all in from the small blind for around 225,000. Holz called and the cards were turned over.

Manig Loeser: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Fedor Holz: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

The flop of {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} improved Holz to a pair of aces, and neither the {2-Clubs} turn nor the {10-Hearts} river saw Loeser regain the lead.

Hand 2

Timothy Adams raised to 24,000 and David Peters three-bet to 75,000 before Adams four-bet all in for around 250,000. Peters called and immediately rolled over his cards for the showdown.

David Peters: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Timothy Adams: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Adams was eliminated.

Hand 3

Last but not least, Daniel Negreanu open-shoved from the small blind and into the big blind of short stack Dario Sammartino. The Italian called and had found a pocket pair.

Dario Sammartino: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Daniel Negreanu: {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

A cruel run out of {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} saw Negreanu hit the better straight and Sammartino was the last casualty before the dinner break.

Kisacikoglu Mucking, Thorel Stacking

Nível 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Seated under the gun plus one, Orpen Kisacikoglu opened for 27,000. Small blind Jean-Noel Thorel three-bet to 75,000 and Kisacikoglu called after the big blind had folded.

Thorel checked on {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Kisacikoglu answered with a bet of 35,000. Thorel check-raised to 125,000 and Kisacikoglu called.

The {3-Hearts} hit the turn and Thorel checked. Kisacikoglu bet 60,000 and Thorel called.

With the {5-Diamonds} completing the board, Thorel was quick to check. Kisacikoglu thought about it for a bit before he checked. Thorel showed the winner with {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, Kisacikoglu mucked.

Kamar and Salter Eliminated

Nível 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Fady Kamar was eliminated a few minutes ago and Jack Salter just followed suit. The cards of the Brit were already in the muck, and according to Charlie Carrel he was all in preflop with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for around the starting stack.

Adrian Mateos looked him up with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and flopped well on a board of {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} to eliminate Salter.

Carrel himself had earned a double through Sam Greenwood previously, and the Canadian just shoved to claim the blinds and antes.
