Double for O'Dwyer

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Steve O'Dwyer pushed what appeared to be all in for 47,000 from middle position on a completed board of {10-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. That looked to be almost exactly the size of the pot and a player on the button went into the tank. After several minutes, he splashed in calling chips. O'Dwyer revealed the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for Broadway.

The player on the button moved to muck, but another player instructed the dealer to turn the cards over per all-in rules. However, O'Dwyer had left a T500 chip behind and pointed out he wasn't all in so the muck was fair.

Povilas Busts Castelluccio

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Jakutis Povilas
Jakutis Povilas

Michal Mrakes was all the way down to 80,000 but has since more than doubled his stack again. Gianluca Speranza, Jussi Nevanlinna and Marco Regonaschi are also all up for the day while Sergio Castelluccio just busted.

Regonaschi had opened to 3,400 from early position and Castelluccio shoved for 25,100. Jakutis Povilas in the big blind asked for a count and eventually raised to see Regonaschi quickly dump his {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

Sergio Castelluccio: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Jakutis Povilas: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board of {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} gave Povilas a full house and Castelluccio an early exit on Day 2.

Duda Finds Lucky River and a Lot of Chips

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

From early position, Antonin Duda opened for 3,500. His neighbor, also in early position, three-bet shoved for 17,200. Thomas Muehloecker in late position cold four-bet to 27,000.

When the action was back on Duda, the local player shoved for 46,000. Muehloecker needed his time and eventually called.

Antonin Duda: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Thomas Muehloecker: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Third player: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}

The flop came {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{K-Spades}, helping Muehloecker in front. The {J-Spades} on the turn made for some excitement at the table and the {9-Hearts} on the river made Duda's straight.

Muehloecker left short, the third player down and out, while Duda now plays over 110,000.

Pustula Gets Value from Merzhvinskiy

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy raised to 4,000 and Jacek Pustula called from the button to see a flop of {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. The 2017 PokerStars Festival Sochi Main Event winner continued for 4,000 and Pustula called before Merzhvinskiy checked the {8-Spades} on the turn. Pustula bet 11,000 and was called before the {7-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Merzhvinskiy checked once more and eventually called a bet of 26,900 by Pustula, who turned over {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} as winning hand.

Badziakouski Times Out

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We found Mikita Badziakouski trying to decide whether or not to call off his remaining chips, just a bit over 16,000 from the look of things. He was in late position and an opponent in the big blind, Daniel Belov, had set him in for a bit over half the pot. The board had come {8-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

"Not too many combos I can beat," Badziakouski mused.

After a few minutes, someone called a clock. Badziakouski let the timer run out and flicked the dealer his cards with a wry smile.
