Day 3 of the PokerStars Championship Macau Main Event Kicks off at Noon

Just 151 hopefuls will return at noon local time on Thursday for Day 3 of the PokerStars Championship Macau Main Event. With the bubble looming only 48 eliminations away, 103 of the remaining players can expect to leave with some consolation today.

The final tally on the first ever PSC Macau closed with a total of 536 entries, creating a prize pool of $20,796,800 HKD. Sitting on top is a first-place prize of $3,130,000 HKD and of course the coveted PokerStars Championship trophy. Anyone making the money today will walk away with at least $62,500 HKD.

Leading the charge this afternoon is Pakinai Lisawad from Thailand. Lisawad will wield a stack of 301,200, chased closely by France’s Ivan Deyra (278,700) and Chuanshu Chen (272,700) of Hong Kong.

A number of notables are still in the hunt including Fabrice Soulier (243,000), Winfred Yu, (210,200), Sergio Aido (197,200), Dong Guo (176,600), Sofia Lovgren (132,900), Bryan Huang (121,300), and Day 1b chip leader Joachim Bold (107,700).
