We caught Brit Tom Alner involved in a battle of the blinds against Michael Egan with the board reading 
just as the 
landed on the turn with over 20,000 in blinds and antes in the pot.
Sitting in the small blind Egan fired for 11,000 only to see Alner come over the top for a bet of 30,000.
The shot clock ticked down to 10-seconds before Egan threw in the call and the dealer completed the hand with the 
pairing the board.
Egan quickly checked and Alner looked torn between checking and betting. Time ticked away and eventually the Brit checked with just 1-second to spare.
Egan turned over 
for two pairs, but this was not enough to beat Alner’s 
flopped flush and he climbed to 110,000 while Egan dropped down to roughly 100,000.
