Sergei Matveev Runs Into Aces

Nível 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Sergei Matveev
Sergei Matveev

Dariusz Chojnacki was the initial raiser from late position and Sergei Matveev three-bet all in out of the small blind for around 140,000 with {A-}{6-}. Chojnacki had an easy call with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and the board of {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts} provided no surprise.

Karlheinz Maier Doubles

Nível 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Markus Johann Polzer raised to 16,000 from the cutoff and Karlheinz Maier shoved for 63,000 in the small blind. Polzer eventually called with {A-Clubs}{6-Spades} and was shown {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} by Maier.

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and the kicker played. Polzer had around 10 big blinds left after that hand and busted soon after, he was replaced by Tezer Cetindag.

Deniz Sinanmis and Raketák Bust in Three-Way All In

Nível 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Deniz Sinanmis
Deniz Sinanmis

Xavier Vidal raised to 18,000 and Rakeťák three-bet all in for 49,000 on the button. Deniz Sinanmis reraised all in from the small blind for 118,000 and Vidal asked for both counts before making the call.

Rakeťák: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Sinanmis: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Vidal: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}

The {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop gave Sinanmis the lead with a pair of queens, but the {3-Clubs} turn and {K-Clubs} river completed the board to give Vidal a straight and knock out two opponents.

Nearing the Money

Nível 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

There are only 120 players remaining and the money bubble with 103 spots being paid is approaching rapidly. Below are players that didn't make the cut.

Adam Markiewicz Thriving

Nível 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Sebastian Langrock sighed when looking over to the monster stack of Adam Markiewicz in seat one. "He doesn't fold and always hits. He had a big hand before where he called a raise, one guy called and then Zarathustra jammed for like 165k. He reshoved with pocket eights. Zarathustra had an ace, flopped the ace and the eight came on the turn," Langrock added.

The result is pretty astonishing: Markiewicz is close to 1.5 million in chips already!

Michel Kruijt Gets the Power of Kings

Nível 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Michel Kruijt
Michel Kruijt

After the three-way flop of {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}, the action between Michel Kruijt in the big blind and King's regular Magic Man 558 escalated. The latter got his stack of 110,000 in and Magic Man 558 immediately looked him up.

"You got the nuts?" Kruijt asked and tabled his {K-Spades}{10-Spades} for two pair. Sure enough he looked right into {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and the {3-Diamonds} turn and {4-Clubs} river were blanks. "Magicccc Mannn, the POWER of King's Casino" followed, the usual announcement when Magic Man 558 scoops a big pot.

Alexander Rettenbacher Loses Half the Stack

Nível 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Alexander Rettenbacher raised to 20,000 in the cutoff and Gilbert Asmowidjojo three-bet to 50,000 from one seat over. Action folded back to Rettenbacher, who moved all in. Asmowidjojo gave it some thought and time was called on him. The Dutchman was seemingly upset that this had been done far too quickly, but eventually called for his tournament life.

Asmowidjojo: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Rettenbacher: {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Asmowidjojo doubled for 226,000 with a set of tens.
