In the meantime, a few players took advantage of the re-entry option in Daniel Negreanu, Adrian Mateos, and Rainer Kempe. In addition, Daniel Cates jumped into the field literally in the last minute.
Jake Schindler, who got off to a hot start in this tournament only to cool off in the middle stages, got his last 40,000 all in preflop and found himself at risk against Adrian Mateos.

Schindler was in need of some help, but it never came as the board ran out a useless . With that, Schindler was officially eliminated from Event #1 of the 2017 Poker Masters.
Ben Tollerene won a flip with pocket tens to double through the king-queen of Brian Rast, and one hand later he finished off his opponent.
It happened when action folded to Tollerene in the small blind and he simply moved all in to put the pressure on Rast, who was sitting with 13,000. The 2015 Super High Roller Bowl champ called off and the hands were turned up.
