Bonomo Battles With Kisacikoglu

Nível 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Orpen Kisacikoglu opened to 5,500 from under the gun and only Justin Bonomo made the call in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Bonomo check-called a bet of 7,500 from Kisacikoglu. On the {5-Diamonds} turn both players checked their options, and again on the {3-Spades} river.

Bonomo tabled {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for middle pair and scored the pot when Kisacikoglu mucked.

On the next hand, action folded to Bonomo in the small blind who limped in and Kisacikoglu checked back from the big blind.

The dealer put out {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Bonomo quickly tossed out 2,500. Kisacikoglu put little thought in before folding and another pot was sent to Bonomo.

Vogelsang Extracts Value From Pardo and Smith

Nível 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

With 89,000 in the middle to the three-way turn of {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Christoph Vogelsang checked out of the small blind. Juan Pardo in the cutoff and Dan Smith on the button both checked as well to then see the {5-Clubs} river pair the board.

Vogelsang used almost his entire 30-second shot clock before betting 110,000, earning calls from both opponents. He turned over the {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} for deuces full of fives and that won the pot.

"Guess I should have folded," Smith sighed upon sending his cards into the muck without revealing them.

Nível 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a three-bet pot of 41,000 on a flop showing {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}, Michael Addamo checked from under the gun to Adrian Mateos next to act who continued for 13,000, which Addamo called.

The {8-Clubs} hit the turn and both players took their time before eventually checking to the {6-Spades} river. Addamo checked and Mateos took close to 30 seconds before checking back to a showdown.

Addamo announced "six" before rolling over {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a rivered pair of sixes. Mateos mucked his hand and the pot was sent to Addamo.

Worre and Petrangelo Off to a Good Start

Nível 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Eric Worre faced a river bet worth 26,000 by Sam Greenwood with the completed board showing {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. The raise to 80,000 by Worre followed and Greenwood folded near instantly.

Shortly after on the same table, another late entrant on Day 2 was able to increase his stack. Nick Petrangelo bet the {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} river for 55,000 in the hijack. David Yan used one time bank extension to then call and mucked upon being shown {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a set.

"I change my mind on queen-jack," Mikita Badziakouski joked and Worre agreed as well.

Lehne Chipping Up

Nível 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Kathy Lehne
Kathy Lehne

Jean Thorel opened the action from under the gun to 6,000, and both Kathy Lehne in the small blind and Seth Davies in the big blind came along.

The flop fanned out {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and both Lehne and Davies checked to Thorel who continued for 6,000. Lehne quickly called and Davies got out of the way.

On the {6-Spades} turn both players checked to the {2-Hearts} and after some thought, both checked to a showdown. Lehne rolled over {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for ace-high and Thorel tossed his cards into the muck.

On the very next hand, Lehne opened to 10,000 on the button and both Davies and Thorel called from the blinds. The flop came {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} and play checked to Lehne who sized to 30,000, which only Thorel called.

On the {7-Spades} turn Thorel checked a second time and Lehne put the pressure on with a bet of 75,000. Thorel took a few seconds to weigh his options, but in the end made the fold and another pot was sent to Lehne.

Kisacikoglu Chips Up Further; Martirosian Caught Bluffing

Nível 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

In a battle big blind versus button, Michael Addamo defended against Orpen Kisacikoglu and check-called a small bet on the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop. Addamo checked again the {9-Spades} turn for Kisacikoglu to bet 21,500 and the Aussie came along.

After the {j-Clubs} river, Kisacikoglu fired a third barrel when checked to and made it 64,000 to go. That sent Addamo into the tank while enjoying a massage and he eventually folded.

Artur Martirosian raised to 6,000 from under the gun next and was called by Adrian Mateos in the big blind. Both checked the {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and Mateos checked the {6-Diamonds} turn. Martirosian now bet 11,000 for his opponent to call.

On the {6-Hearts} river, Mateos checked for the third time and Martirosian upped his sizing to 62,000. More than one time bank was invested by Mateos, who then called and was good with the {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} as Martirosian had bluffed with the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}.
