Florian Duta raised to 8,500 on the button, Sergi Reixach three-bet to 34,000 from the small blind, Uri Reichenstein slid a whole bunch of T-5,000 chips forward, enough to cover both players, and Duta folded.
Reixach shrugged and called it off for around 190,000.
Sergi Reixach:
Uri Reichenstein:
There was no help for Reixach on a board and he left empty-handed. With the elimination, Reichenstein is now over 600k and towering above the competition.

Brian Altman was preflop all in against Harpreet Padda and had him slightly covered.

With hand-for-hand already installed three before the money, play has slowed down to a crawl as a result. After several long-dragging hands with no all-in-and-a-call, it was Jack Sinclair who open-shoved for 115,000 in the small blind. Jeffrey Blenkarn instantly called from the big blind.
Jack Sinclair:
Jeffrey Blenkarn:
Sinclair remained behind on a and was out of chips.
"Well, guess I can still enter 1b," he chuckled.

Shortly into level 17, the bubble burst on Day 1a of the $1,100 PCA National in a hand that had three players bust to bring all remaining players into the money.
Vicent Bosca was first to bust in an unknown showdown, followed by Daniel Strelitz. Strelitz was at risk after calling off a shove in the big blind from Lawrence Bayley, who had him covered on the button. Strelitz was all in for around 120,000.
Daniel Strelitz:
Lawrence Bayley:
The spectators, including Chris Moorman, gathered to see the flop fall. The "ooh's" and "aah's" swelled on the turn, but the river did Strelitz in and he was gone.
At another table, David Korn was forced all in from the big blind. Pierre Calamusa raised it up with the and Korn held , or "jacko-queeno" as announced by floorman Shawn.
There was no "jacko" nor a "queeno" on a board and Korn also missed out on Day 2. Bosca, Korn, and Strelitz will chop the min-cash that will be decided as soon as the total prize pool has been announced.
The remaining 77 players bagged for the night and will be in the money when play resumes on Friday. An end-of-day recap follows later.
