Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Over on the feature table, Felipe Pantoja flopped trips with {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} on {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Daniel Negreanu put his hopes on {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for the nut flush draw. However, both the {3-Clubs} turn and {A-Spades} river were bricks and Negreanu was out of the door in just two hands.

Schemion Sends Vieira to the Rail

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

After a raise from Ole Schemion, Joao Vieira committed his last 33,000. Schemion beat him to the pot with a call.

Joao Vieira: {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Ole Schemion: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop gave Schemion a commanding lead in the hand but the {10-Clubs} on the turn was exactly what Vieira needed if he was to survive. Schemion faded the clubs and jacks on the {4-Hearts} river and Vieira headed off.

High Rollers Take on the Portuguese

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Steffen Sontheimer
Steffen Sontheimer

Matthias Eibinger raised to 5,500, Manuel Ruivo three-bet to 16,500 from the blinds and Eibinger called. The flop was {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Ruivo check-called 13,000 from Eibinger. On the {6-Spades} turn, Ruivo checked, Eibinger shoved for 45,500, and Ruvio called after the clock got called on him.

Matthias Eibinger: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Manuel Ruivo: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

Ruivo could only win with a jack but caught the {4-Hearts} instead and had to fork over a decent part of his stack.

At the same time at another table, Steffen Sontheimer and Diogo Veiga got their stacks in the middle on a {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. Veiga was all in for a little over 50,000 and trailing with {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} against Sontheimer's {10-Spades}{9-Spades}.

The {Q-Diamonds} turn and {5-Diamonds} river kept the aces second best, scoring Sontheimer a knockout.
