Durnegger and Eiler Take Hits

Nível 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Andreas Eiler and Markus Durnegger have taken a big hit to their stacks early on and the chips were sent over to Joey Couden and Alexander Ziskin respectively.

Eiler defended his big blind against the button raise of Couden and check-called a bet of 300 on the []Kd9d3s] flop. Eiler check-called the {K-Clubs} turn for another 800 and led the {7-Hearts} river for 1,700. Couden raised to 6,200 and Eiler gave him a stare down before making the call.

Couden rolled over {K-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a full house and claimed the pot.

Ziskin also won a big pot with a full house, leaving Durnegger with the head shaking. The board and cards were all but rushed away, but Ziskin had flopped top pair and a gutshot, then improved to runner runner full house with the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

Five-Bet Alert

Nível 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

A raising war broke out between Lexy Gavin and Jean Ferreira and some 1,500 chips were already pulled into the middle. Ferreira had reraised to 3,500 and Gavin clicked it back up to 8,500. That was all it took to eventually break the resistance of Ferreira, and Gavin claimed the pot.

Guerrero Takes From Schein

Nível 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Table seven features 2018 WSOP Main Event 6th place finisher Aram Zobian, Shawn Buchanan, Alan Schein, Chris Johnson, and Jimmy Guerrero. The latter two were just involved in a hand in which Guerrero check-called a bet of 800 on the {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts} turn. The {Q-Clubs} on the river was checked through and Guerrero showed {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Schein mucked.

"You got lucky with the queen," Schein added.

Welcome to Day 1a of the 2019 PCA $10,300 Main Event

Defending champion Maria Lampropulos
Defending champion Maria Lampropulos

Poker enthusiasts from near and far will be heading to the Atlantis Resort & Casino on Paradise Island at the Bahamas for the 2019 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) $10,300 Main Event. The first of two starting days kicks off at noon local time and plenty of big names are expected to join the action and try to become the latest EPT Main Event champion.

The defending champion is Argentina's Maria Lampropulos, who topped a field of 582 entries one year ago to lift the trophy and score a payday of $1,081,100, her second seven-figure score on the international poker circuit. Lampropulos has already taken part in the record-breaking $25,000 PokerStars NL Hold'em Players Championship, which concluded yesterday with the victory of Platinum Pass qualifier Ramon Colillas, and will be there to defend her title in the days to come.

Further previous winners in the PCA Main Event include such big names as Gus Hansen, Bertrand Grospellier, Harrison Gimbel, Galen Hall, Dominik Panka and Christian Harder, who have all engraved their names into the history books of poker.
