Petrangelo Doubles Through Negreanu

Nível 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Daniel Negreanu shoved from the button and Nick Petrangelo called to put his 52,000-chip stack at risk from the small blind. After some consideration, Mohsin Charania folded his big blind, and the two live players tabled their hands.

Petrangelo: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Negreanu: {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Petrangelo was ahead with the better ace and Negreanu needed help from the deck to send him home. The board ran out {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} to give Petrangelo Broadway, so he took the pot to double up.

Charania Left with Crumbs

Nível 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Mohsin Charania opened to 12,00 from early position and was called by Mikita Badziakouski in the cutoff and Daniel Negreanu in the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Negreanu checked to Charnia who continued for 11,500. Badziakouski called while Negreanu folded.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and both players checked to the {8-Diamonds} on the river. After using one of his time banks, Charania finally checked to Badziakouski who bet 40,000. With just 60,000 remaining, Charania used another time bank, and ultimately ended up folding.

Bonomo Doubles Through Concepcion

Nível 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Action folded to Justin Bonomo in the hijack and he raised to 10,000. Jonathan Concepcion called from the big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Concepcion checked. Bonomo bet 8,000, Concepcion check-raised to 23,000, and Bonomo called.

The turn brought the {7-Hearts} and Concepcion moved a stack of T-25,000 chips forward, putting Bonomo to a decision for his 132,500-chip stack. Bonomo called to put himself at risk and the two players tabled their hands.

Bonomo: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Concepcion: {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Concepcion was way ahead with a nine-high straight and Bonomo needed an eight or king on the river to survive. The final card was the {K-Clubs} so Bonomo took the pot to double up.

Badziakouski Stacks Jensen

Nível 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

There were about 45,000 chips already in the middle and the board read {J-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} when we got to the table. Greg Jensen checked from the small blind, Steffen Sontheimer bet 12,000 from under the gun, Mikita Badziakouski called from the button, and Jensen check-raised all-in for 57,500. Sontheimer folded and Badziakouski called to put Jensen at risk.

Badziakouski: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Jensen: {K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

Badziakouski had the advantage with top pair, top kicker, and Jensen needed help from the deck to survive. The {9-Spades} turn and {3-Clubs} river changed nothing, so Badziakouski took the pot to end Jensen's tournament.

Badziakouski Soars Over One Million

Nível 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

The action folded around to Mikita Badziakouski in the small blind who opened with a raise to 20,000. Anthony Zinno was in the big blind and put in a three-bet to 75,000. Badziakouski countered with a four-bet shove all in. Zinno quickly called and the cards were on their backs.

Mikita Badziakouski: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Anthony Zinno: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

It was an action flop when the dealer fanned the {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Zinno flopped top set but Badziakouski flopped a flush and straight draw. The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and Badziakouski took the lead with a flush. Zinno would need the board to pair but the {6-Spades} on the river was no help. Zinno was the player all in for roughly 340,000 and Badziakouski climbed to over one million in chips.

Jaffe Check-Raises the River

Nível 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

With 120,000 piled up in the middle and a board reading {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Hearts}, Jonathan Jaffe check-raised a bet of 75,000 from Igor Kuranov to 210,000.

Kurganov went into the tank requiring five timebank chips and eventually found the fold button. Kurganov now has just one timebank chip left while Jaffe is the clear tournament chipleader.

Justin Bonomo raised to 10,000 from under the gun, Anthony Zinno called from the cutoff, and Steffen Sontheimer called out of the big blind.

The flop came {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} and Sontheimer checked. Bonomo checked, Zinno bet 16,000, Sontheimer called, and Bonomo folded.

The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The {8-Diamonds} fell on the river and Sontheimer bet 55,000. Zinno folded and Sontheimer took the chips.

Top Pair Good for Seymour

Nível 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

There were about 45,000 chips in the pot and the board read {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs} when we got to the table. Liv Boeree checked from the big blind, Richard Seymour bet 18,000 from the hijack, and Boeree called.

The river brought the {K-Spades} and both players checked. Seymour tabled {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and his pair of aces was good enough to win the pot.
