Haxton Stacks Mandavia

Nível 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Larry Greenberg just informed the PokerNews Live Reporting team that Isaac Haxton recently felted Ankush Mandavia. The two players got all the chips in the middle on the river; Haxton held a flush that came in backdoor and Mandavia had rivered a straight with {7-}{5-}. Haxton has chipped up substantially since the start of Day 2 play and now sits at just under 500,000.

Sontheimer Scores a Double

Nível 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Steffen Sontheimer opened to 7,000 from middle position getting calls from Mikita Badziakouski on the button and Greg Jensen in the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{a-Spades} and Sontheimer continued with a bet of 16,000 which just Badziakouski called. Sontheimer checked when the {6-Spades} hit on the turn and called a bet worth 20,000 from Badziakouski.

The {10-Hearts} completed the board and Sontheimer check-shoved for 91,800 after Badziakouski bet 70,000. The bet wasn't much more but it was clear Badziakouski had been caught. He would end up putting in the rest and mucked his {k-}{j-} when Sontheimer tabled the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

Some Updated Chip Counts

Badziakouski On Fire with a Double KO

Nível 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

There was a three-way all in with Andre Akkari holding {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Boris Kolev showing {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, and Mikita Badziakouski with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Badziakouski held the best hand and the most amount of chips, and was in a prime position to score a double knockout.

The flop came {9-}{8-}{6-}, barely missing all three players which resulted in Badziakouski staying in the lead. A {j-} on the turn and another {9-} on the river changed nothing and Badziakouski sent both of his opponents to the rail.

Seymour Takes One

Nível 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Richard Seymour
Richard Seymour

Liv Boeree raised to 7,000 from early position and Richard Seymour called from the button.

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {5-Clubs} and Boeree checked. Seymour bet 8,000 and Boeree called.

The {Q-Spades} fell on the river and Boeree checked again. Seymour counted his stack down and used a time bank slip before he bet what looked like 20,000. Boeree folded and Seymour took the pot.

Adams and Koon Can't Make Another Deep Run

Nível 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Timothy Adams got the last of is roughly 30,000 stack in the middle and was up against Mikalai Vaskaboinikau. The two recently battled in the $25,000 Single Day High-Roller on the final table with the Belarussian coming out on top. Adams turned over the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and was up against the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Vaskaboinikau.

The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Adams was still slightly in the lead with the only pair. The {9-Spades} on the turn made things a little scarier and the {k-Hearts} on the river sealed his fate. Vaskaboinikau binked a pair of kings on the river to eliminate Adams once again.

Jason Koon was also seen leaving his seat and both he and Adams won't be able to duplicate their deep runs that they made in the Single Day High-Roller.

Kruk Takes from Schillhabel

Nível 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

There were about 22,000 chips already in the middle and the board read {J-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} when we got to the table. Stefan Schillhabel checked from the big blind, Jonathan Jaffe checked from the cutoff, and Christopher Kruk bet 7,200 from the button. Schillhabel called and Jaffe folded.

The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} and Schillhabel checked. Kruk bet 25,000 and Schillhabel called.

The {8-Diamonds} fell on the river and Schillhabel checked. Kruk bet 43,000, Schillhabel folded, and Kruk took the pot.
