Wellenbach Loses All to Ferreira in Two Hands

Nível 26 : 250,000/500,000, 62,500 ante
Ferreira vs Wellenbach
Ferreira vs Wellenbach

Scott Wellenbach and Douglas Ferreira were sitting in the blinds and were heads-up with the latter at risk with the shorter stack.

Douglas Ferreira: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Scott Wellenbach: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Wellenbach was ahead but the board ran out {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{q-Spades} for Ferreira to river the two pair to double up.

Two hands later, Wellenbach got his chips in from the cutoff and Ferreira reshoved for more from the button for the rest to fold.

Scott Wellenbach: {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Douglas Ferreira: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} to not help Wellenbach as he was eliminated in 49th place for $18,818.

Zeiter Hits the Rail in Three-Way Showdown

Nível 26 : 250,000/500,000, 62,500 ante

A three-way showdown emerged in which Diego Zeiter was the shortest stack. Andrei Chernokoz was also involved and Christian Rudolph had both covered by quite some margin.

Diego Zeiter: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Andrei Chernokoz: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Christian Rudolph: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The worst hand preflop got there as the board ran out {q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to keep Chernokoz in contention with a near triple up.

Two Pair for Kazantsev

Nível 26 : 250,000/500,000, 62,500 ante

Valentyn Kazantsev raised to 1,149,999 from the hijack and Ilia Rusalimchik three-bet to 3,100,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Kazantsev made the call.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, Kazantsev check-called the 1,850,000 continuation-bet of Rusalimchik.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and Kazantsev checked again before making the call for 6,550,000.

The river completed the board with the {q-Diamonds} and both players checked. Kazantsev tabled the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for two pair and the pot.

Owen From Hero to Zero

Nível 26 : 250,000/500,000, 62,500 ante
Owen vs Brinkmann
Owen vs Brinkmann

Adam Owen jammed it in for the last 4,879,311 in the hijack and was called by Francisco Correia on the button.

Adam Owen: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Francisco Correia: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board gave Owen a set of sevens and he doubled to nearly 11 million.

Owen then got into a raising war with Martin Brinkmann and that resulted in a flip with the Brit at risk once more.

Adam Owen: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Martin Brinkmann: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The board came {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and that spelled the end for the British mixed game specialist.

Fast forward a few moments and the next all-in showdown took place on the same table.

Manfred Hermann: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Hermogenes Gelonezi: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The pair held despite a huge sweat on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades} board as Manfred Hermann took a chunk out of the big stack of Hermogenes Gelonezi.

Nemeth Eliminated by Gelonezi

Nível 26 : 250,000/500,000, 62,500 ante
Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

Andras Nemeth raised to 1.1 million and called a three-bet to see the {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, on which he checked. Table neighbor Hermogenes Gelonezi bet 3.25 million and Nemeth made the call.

On the {3-Clubs} turn both players checked and Nemeth bet the {j-Clubs} river for 8.025 million with around 6.1 million behind.

Gelonezi jammed with the superior stack and Nemeth eventually called with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Gelonezi had that beat with the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and sent the dangerous Hungarian to the rail.

Nível 26 : 250,000/500,000, 62,500 ante

The roller coaster ride of Endrit Geci has earned yet another chapter as he doubled through Jake Schindler.

It was one of those classic flips with the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for the Brit and {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for Schindler.

The board ran out {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Geci held up with his pocket pair.
