Prinz Eliminates Rivest

Nível 33 : 1,000,000/2,500,000, 2,500,000 ante

Kevin Rivest was one of the shorter stacks left in the room and got all of his chips in the middle holding {a-}{10-}. Unfortunately for him, he ran into the {a-}{k-} of Markus Prinz.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} which was no help to Rivest and when the {k-Diamonds} landed on the river, Rivest was left drawing dead. The rich got richer as Prinz stacked even more chips.

Marc-Andre Ladouceur shipped all in for 20.4 million from early position and Joseph Cheong made the call from the small blind. The hands were tabled and it was a race for Ladouceur's tournament life.

The flop fell {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Cheong took the lead with a pair of aces. However, the {6-Clubs} on the turn and the {k-Clubs} on the river put four clubs on the board, giving Ladouceur a flush and the double up.
