In two hours from now as of 12 p.m. noon local time, the King's Casino in Rozvadov will once again welcome high stakes regulars from near and far for another showdown at Europe's biggest poker arena. Day 1 of the 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Germany €25,000 Super High Roller kicks off and the tournament features a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000.
A total of 12 levels of 30 minutes each are scheduled for the first of two tournament days and the registration remains open for the first nine levels until approximately 5.00 p.m. local time. During the registration period, players can take advantage of the single re-entry option in case they run out of chips. All participants receive 1,000,000 in chips, which represents 100 big blinds in the first two levels.

The tournament will feature the button ante format play down to a winner on Sunday February 11th, 2018, and the same day also features the starting day of the second €25,000 Super High Roller. Furthermore, a €50,000 Super High Roller takes place on February 12th and 13th, and is certain to attract some of the biggest names in poker here in Rozvadov.
The 2018 partypoker MILLIONS Germany kicked off on February 8th and will run until February 18th 2018 with a total of €12.5 million in guaranteed prize pools. Highlight of the festival is the €5 million guaranteed €5,300 Main Event and the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor to provide updates from the €25,000 and €50,000 Super High Roller as well as the €5,300 Main Event until a winner is crowned.
Steffen Sontheimer doubles through and busts Yair Bitoun
On a flop of , Yair Bitoun in the big blind bet 25,000 and Steffen Sontheimer raised to 125,000, which Bitoun called. Bitoun then bet the turn for 200,000 and Sontheimer came along before Bitoun moved all in after the river. Sontheimer called for his last 305,000 and Bitoun showed the , wich Sontheimer had beat with for the second nut flush.
Sontheimer raised to 25,000 and Besim Hot called in the cutoff. Thomer Pidun three-bet to 130,000 and that won the pot without showdown. Shortly after, Bitoun was all in from the button for an additional 15,000 after having paid the button ante and three further players headed to the flop of in Dietrich Fast, Pidun and Sontheimer in the big blind. Fast bet 30,000 and picked up calls from Pidun and Sontheimer.
On the turn, action checked to Pidun and he made it 80,000 to go. Only Sontheimer called before the remaining two active players checked down the river. Sontheimer turned over for trips jacks and neither Pidun nor Bitoun could beat that to see the latter bow out.
With 220,000 in the pot and the flop showing , Koray Aldemir checked in late position and Joao Simao bet 100,000 in the hijack. Aldemir check-shoved for some 400,000 and partypoker ambassador Simao quickly called.

Tobias Ziegler has also joined the rail after running out of chips for the second time today. His raise from under the gun was called by Renato Nowak in the small blind, then partypoker ambassador Patrick Leonard three-bet out of the big blind. Only Ziegler called and the flop came . Leonard bet and called the shove of Ziegler to see the German turn over for the nut flush draw. Leonard was ahead with and faded the additional gutshot on the turn and river run out.

After the floor came over to establish what had happened in the last hand before the break, he declared that the button was on Leonard and he had to pay the 16,000 button ante. Renato Nowak limped in from the hijack, so did Koray Aldemir from the cutoff after having reentered during the break. Leonard folded and Martin Kabrhel raised to 101,000 from the small blind. Dominik Nitsche, in the big blind, quickly got out of the way. The action was back on Nowak who called. Aldemir folded.
The flop came , Kabrel bet 150,000 and Nowak called without any hesitation.
They both checked through the on the turn to the on the river. Kabrhel counted his 100,000-value chips (4) and then looked at his orange 25,000-value chips. He put his blue chips in and announced all-in. Nowak had a quick glance at his own stack and then asked the dealer for a count. The dealer confirmed that Kabrhel had 880,000 behind. Nowak counted out calling chips, confirmed the amount again and then called.
Kabrhel tabled for the pair of nines on the board and an ace-kicker in his hand. Nowak threw open for two pair, nines and sixes.
"Fuck you man!" Nowak said with a huge smile on his face.
Kabrhel got up and left the table without saying anything.
The rest of the table repeated the previous words said by Nowak several times with lots of laughter around the table. Kabrhel is expected to take a seat at another table later on.
On the heads-up flop of , Leon Tsoukernik moved all in for his last 460,000 and Joao Simao called from one seat over.
