Becker's next raise to 400,000 was met with a three-bet shove by Farrell in the small blind for 4.8 million and no call followed.

Stefan Schillhabel kicked off the new level with two raises, 550,000 from the small blind and 475,000 from the button, and claimed the blinds and antes without resistance.

Johannes Becker made it 400,000 to go and Bartlomiej Machon called out of the big blind. On a flop of , Machon checked and subsequently check-raised all in for 2.175 million after Becker had bet 300,000. The quick call of the German followed and Machon was in need of help.
