Cody Gets It Wrong

With a million chips already in the pot, Fabio Sperling bet 650,000 on a flop and Jake Cody made the call. The turn brought the and another bet from Sperling; this time 950,000. Cody called again.

Sperling moved in for his remaining 3,465,000 on the river, and eventually, Cody threw a couple of his yellow 1million chips over the line. Sperling revealed for top two pair and though Cody tried to muck his cards, the dealer turned them over as per the tournament rules. Swift and Tuxworth Rising

On the four-way turn showing , Thomas Boivin bet 2,650,000 and Vicente Delgado folded, Andrew Tuxworth called and so did Robert Schulz. The trio then checked the river and Boivin showed for a missed straight draw. Tuxworth had for a flush and Schulz mucked.

One table over, Katie Swift won a big pot off Igor Kurganov when calling a 10m river bet on an ace-high board with three hearts and two tens. Swift tabled aces and kings as winning hand and raked in a big pot.

Andrew Tuxworth started the day with one of the shorter stacks in the field, but in an impressive turn of events, the Nottingham local have turned it around, and are now sitting on more than double the average stack.

Just now Tuxworth took a stand against the former chipleader, Vicente Delgado, to rake in another pot. On a board Tuxworth bet 600,000 out of the big blind, Delgado made it a cool 2 million before Tuxworth reraised to 5 million. That was enough to take the pot.

One of these players will win a £100,000 last longer. Whoever is last man standing of the seven names below will win that magical six-figure score, and with 72 players left, almost 10% of the field have that golden chip.

David Peters raised to 850,000 and Xia Ke called on the button before Ben Farrell in the big blind moved all in. Peters folded and Ke asked for a count, which was deemed to be for 4,435,000 in total. Ultimately, Ke called and the cards were turned over.
