The late re-entry of Koray Aldemir has not paid off for the German, and he became the latest casualty to reduce the field to the last 48 hopefuls. One table broke and the remaining participants are now on six tables of eight players each.

Soon after and on a different table, Paul Newey three-bet shoved his short stack from the button with the ![]()
and initial raiser Jason Wheeler quickly called with ![]()
. The [KdQd3ds] flop left Newey in desperate shape, and it was all over after the
turn, making the
river a formality.
"I'm just clarifying the rules here, but can I take back the bet?", Stephen Ayres just asked, after facing an all-in shove from Keith Johnson that he clearly didn't fancy. The two of them had seen a ![]()

-flop four way, where Johnson led out for 15,000 and only Ayres called. The turn was thew
, and after being checked to Ayres bet 19,000, only to face a shove for more than 100,000 chips more.
The dealer politely declined, Ayres' hand made its way into the muck shortly after and Johnson racked in the pot.
In other news on table #38, Ivan Luca is making what just might be one of the greatest comebacks during this years partypoker Millions. Luca was a level ago decimated to just one single chip of 100 after losing an all-in. He's now back up to what might seem like a massive 65,000, but with blinds at 2,000/4,000 - 400 ante, he's not quite out of the woods yet.
Adrian Mateos had been eliminated during the last level still and Martin Kabrhel just followed him to the rail. Down to just eight big blinds, Kabrhel shoved from early position and the action folded to Jason Wheeler in the big blind, who called.

With around 50,000 in the middle, Javier Gomez from under the gun and Niall Farrell on the button entered a staring contest. Gomez eventually bet 31,000 and Farrell called to see the
appear on the river. Gomez stared at the board, then checked. Farrell stared back, but also glanced over to get any kind of reaction from the Spaniard.
Farrel, who started the day in the top spot, then bet 56,000 and that ended up winning the pot without showdown.
Chris Backhouse made it 6,500 to go from early position, Orpen Kisacikoglu reraised to 23,000 out of the blinds and Backhouse came back over the top for 46,500 total. Kisacikoglu made the call.

turn, leaving himself just shy of 80,000, and once again Backhouse called.
The rest went in on the
river, and Kisacikoglu confidently turned over ![]()
for the full house. The only problem was, Backhouse had made the bigger boat with ![]()
, and the Turk was sent to the rail.
"The thing is, Chris has made quite a few four-bets today. Earlier he made quad aces, now he made aces over queens against queens over aces. Poker is hard", tablemate Alex Goulder joked while Backhouse stacked up his newly won chips. Backhouse is closing in on Joao Simao in the top of the standings.
Jack Salter had accumulated some chips after joining the action not long ago, but all that profit just vanished in a mid-sized pot against Joao Simao. The latter was the initial raiser from early position and Salter stayed in the pot to see the ![]()

Salter bet 38,000 for around half the pot and Simao gave it some consideration before calling. Salter turned over ![]()

Among the latest casualties were Fraser MacIntyre and Charlie Carrel, while Niall Farrell is still among the biggest stacks.
Jason Wheeler raised to 6,500 on the button and Lander Lijo Bereciartua three-bet to 21,000 out of the big blind with what appeared to be 75,000 behind. Wheeler moved all in and the Spaniard quickly called.
