Govert Metaal raised to 2,500 in the hijack and Lander Lijo in the cutoff called before the action folded to Lucas Reeves in the big blind. Reeves reraised to 9,500 and Metaal asked for his stack size, which appeared to be 30,000 in total. Metaal then made it 20,000 to go and Lijo quickly folded, Reeves shoved and was met by a snap-call from Metaal.

Alex Goulder raised to 2,500 and Andy Bacon called, before Mitchell Johnson three-bet to 9,500 on the button. Goulder called and Bacon also came along to go three-way to the flop. The action checked to Johnson and he continued for 10,500. This got Goulder out of the way, and Bacon called.
On the turn, Bacon check-called a bet worth 22,000 before the river went check, check. Bacon turned over and Johnson had that beat with for the better kicker.

Joining the action on the flop, Joao Simao checked out of the big blind and Phillip Maghill bet 2,000. Simao check-raised to 5,000 and received a call before betting the turn for 6,900. Maghill called and the river completed the board. Simao moved all in for around 27,400 and Maghill got out of the way to let Simao recover some chips, he moved to just over half the starting stack after a difficult day thus far.
Javier Gomez opened to 2,000 from under the gun and Andreas Olympios called. Conor Beresford 3-bet to 7,700 on the button and Gomez called, but Olympios pumped it up to 20,000 pre-flop and that was enough to scare both his opponents off and bully his way back up to almost starting stack.
