A total of 234 entries took to the felt in Day 1c of the $1,100 buy-in MILLIONS Open at the Caribbean Poker Party Festival, but only 140 bagged chips at the conclusion of play. Although no player in this starting flight bagged a bigger stack than Barny Boatman, who ended Day 1a with 7,415,000, partypoker Sponsored Pro Marcel Luske (2,741,000) sits among the top stacks on the list of Day 1c contenders. The top five are Darlin Nataniel Quezada Lagares (4,045,000), Vincent Tremblay (3,918,000), Harry Law (3,569,000), Florian Hoeller (3,375,000), and Glib Tremzin (3,359,000).

Quite a few other well-known players advanced to Day 2, including several of partypoker's finest. Partypoker Chairman Mike Sexton ended the day with 1,335,000, and partypoker Sponsored Pros Natalia Breviglieri (2,000,000) and Kristin Bicknell (969,000) will also return when Day 2 begins at noon on Sunday, as will team partypoker online pro Louise Butler (730,000). In addition, partypoker Head of Poker Tom Waters ended his day with 2,199,000. Other prominent players who bagged chips at the end of the night include Mike Leah (2,611,000), Mustapha Kanit (2,086,000), Donnacha O'Dea (1,900,000), Anthony Zinno (1,310,000), Kevin MacPhee (1,634,000), and Koray Aldemir (404,000).

Not all the familiar faces who tried their luck today were fortunate enough to bag chips. Jason Wheeler, Thai Ha, and John Duthie were among the fallen.

Day 1d began at 9:00 p.m. local time and late registration will remain open until the conclusion of level 12 on Day 2, so it's absolutely anybody's tournament.
