Breviglieri Eliminated by Linde

Nível 12 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Natalia Breviglieri
Natalia Breviglieri

There were already about 600,000 chips in the middle and the board read {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{K-Diamonds} when we got to the table. Partypoker Sponsored Pro Natalia Breviglieri was in the big blind and already all-in, having started the hand with less than 40,000. Dylan Linde was in the small blind and heads-up in the side pot against the player in the hijack, who had already committed 350,000 on the river. Linde jammed for a total of 2,600,000, putting his opponent to a decision for his remaining 1,700,000 chips. He went into the tank for nearly a minute and ultimately folded. Linde showed {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} for kings up, the hijack mucked, and Breviglieri, who apparently had not yet peeked at her hole cards, tabled them one at a time. Her {9-}{7-} was no good, so Linde took all the chips and eliminated Breviglieri.

Foxen Loses Some

Nível 12 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

There was a substantial pot of about 1,500,000 already in the middle and the board read {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} when we got to the table. Alex Foxen bet 375,000 from the small blind and the player on the button called.

Both players checked the {9-Spades} turn and {8-Spades} river. Foxen tabled {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}, the button showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}, and the dealer pushed the pot to Foxen's opponent.

Sevilla Doubles Through Romanello

Nível 12 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Bernard Sevilla and Roberto Romanello already had all the chips in the middle before the flop when we got to the table and Romanello had the larger of the two stacks by a fair margin.

Sevilla: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}
Romanello: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Sevilla was racing for his tournament life and needed to improve in order to double up. The board ran out {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} to pair Sevilla's king, so he took the pot to double through Romanello.

Bacon Stacks Luske

Nível 11 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Marcel Luske
Marcel Luske

There was a substantial pot already brewing when we got to the table and the completed board read {Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Partypoker Sponsored Pro Marcel Luske shoved from the small blind for 150,000, the big blind folded, and Andy Bacon called from middle position with a larger stack. Luske showed {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for an eight-high straight, but his hand was second-best to Bacon's {J-Spades}{9-Spades} for the nut straight.

"I knew it when you called. Good luck, everyone," said Luske as he stood up to make his exit.

Kempe Slips

Nível 11 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

With about 200,000 already in the middle and the board reading {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{4-Clubs} Rainer Kempe checked from the big blind to his lone opponent, who was under the gun. He bet 60,000 and Kempe called.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds}, Kempe checked, his opponent bet 160,000, and Kempe called.

The {Q-Diamonds} fell on the river and Kempe checked a third time. His opponent bet 325,000 and Kempe went into the tank for over half a minute before he called. Kempe's opponent showed {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} for a turned set of sevens, Kempe tossed his cards into the muck, and the dealer pushed the pot to his opponent.

Jacobson Doubles Up

Nível 11 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

A player had already raised to 65,000 when we got to the table and Martin Jacobson three-bet shoved for 360,000. The original raiser called to put Jacobson at risk.

Jacobson: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}

Jacobson had the preflop advantage and his opponent needed to improve in order to stack him. Jacobson paired his ten on the {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop to extend his lead and neither the {6-Hearts} turn nor {2-Clubs} river were any help to his opponent, so Jacobson took the pot to double up.
