Another short-stacked player to start the day didn't make it out of the first blind level. Sylvain Roullet raised to 40,000 preflop from under the gun and was flat called by Gregory Cometto. Varraud who was holding less than 10 big blinds then jammed his remaining stack. Roullet folded and Cometto called.

Cometto: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Varraud: {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Varraud was still alive on the {2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} flop. The {10-Spades} on the turn opened eliminated his three outs for a six, but opened up four outs for an eight. However, Varraud was eliminated in 20th place for 36,000 MAD (€3,318) after a {4-Diamonds} completed the board.

Marijo Eliminated in 21st Place (36,000 MAD)

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Just like that, we are down to an even 20 players. Spain's "Marijo" is the latest tournament casualty after he jammed all-in preflop for about 10 big blinds with {k-}{8-} and unable to get there with help of the {J-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} board after Glenn Le Cornec calls with {9-}{9-}.

Marijo is on his way to collect 36,000 MAD (€3,318) for his 21st place performance.

It didn't take too long for our first elimination of the day. [Removed:13] raised from early position to 40,000 with {7-}{7-} and Romain Lewis shoved his stack of a little more than 20 big blinds with {2-}{2-}. Guiglini called and the {K-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades} board improved neither hand eliminating Lewis in 22nd place for 36,000 MAD (€3,318).
