On the 10♣ river, Macdonald led for 2,000 from the small blind. Nuwwarrah then announced a raise to 8,500. Tsang swiftly got out of the way before Macdonald quickly called. He got the bad news immediately as Nuwwarah revealed K♠8♣ for a turned top pair and was able to extract extra value on the river.
