Kyte Flops a Set and Gets Paid
Nível 17
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Valentyn Shabelnyk opened to 13,000 from the hijack and Jon Kyte called from the small blind.
The flop came 2♠6♥5♥. Kyte checked and Shabelnyk bet 13,000. Kyte check-raised to 42,000 and Shabelnyk moved all in with a covering stack. Kyte, who had started the hand with 193,000, made the call and was at risk.
Jon Kyte: 2♣2♦
Valentyn Shabelnyk: A♦6♣
Kyte was a massive favorite with bottom set against Shabelnyk's top pair. The 4♦ turn brought some outs for a chop but the K♠ river was clean for Kyte and he doubled up through Shabelnyk.
