Ehsan Amiri, who was the overall chip leader coming into the day, recalled a hand which brought his stack up to around 1,250,000.
“Everybody folded, a player on a small blind limped. I made 4x raise to 10K. He reraised me 32K, I called.
The flop came 7♦6♥2♠, he checked, I bet 16K, he called. We both checked the 7♣ turn.
On the K♣ river, he bet 30K, and I jammed under his stack - around 170K. He tanked for a while and made a call with A♦K♠ I showed 8♦7♠."
Amiri has since lost a little of his stack, but still sits with around 1,050,000 as the midway point of Level 11 approaches.
