Kirill Shcherbakov Eliminated in 3rd Place ($131,900)
Nível 31
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Johnny Lodden raised the button to 500,000 and Kirill Shcherbakov three-bet shoved for 3,900,000 from the small blind. After the big blind folded, Lodden snap-called.
Kirill Shcherbakov: A♠9♦
Johnny Lodden: A♦Q♥
Lodden had Shcherbakov dominated with the superior ace and it looked likely that the tournament would be heads-up after this hand.
The flop of K♠Q♦5♥, left Shcherbakov virtually drawing dead, as Lodden had paired his queen. The rest of the board ran out 8♣2♣ and Shcherbakov was out of the tournament.
