Pateychuk Down But Not Out

Nível 30 : Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante

Andrey Pateychuk's stack took a huge hit and he was down to less than a small blind, but won a hand after to get his stack to two big blinds.

Pateychuk made it 700,000 and left himself just 50,000 behind from early position. Mikhail Zavoloka called from the cutoff.

They both then checked it down on the 7♥4♣7♦K♥2♥ board and Zavoloka's 6♣6♠ was good against the A♠8♠ of Pateychuk.

In the next hand, Pateychuk put his 50,000 in from under the gun and found himself heads-up against Dawid Smolka.

Andrey Pateychuk: A♦8♣ All in
Dawid Smolka: Q♠J♣

Pateychuk made the nut flush on the 2♠4♦2♦6♦5♦ runout to sextuple up his stack!
