Friese led out on the flop of [8s2s4c} for 5,600. Walsh called. Friese led again on the Q♥ turn, this time for 16,200. Walsh called again. The J♦ river was checked down. Friese's A♠10♣ was bested by Walsh's A♦Q♠ for top pair.
Maurice Paradis opened to 2,500 from early position. Gabriel Rymar called in the cutoff as did Moya Murphy from the small blind.
The J♥4♥6♠ flop was checked around. Murphy and Paradis checked again and Rymar bet 3,500. Murphy called and Paradis folded.
Murphy and Rymar checked again on the 3♠ river. Rymar had K♥Q♥ and Murphy had 9♥5♥ for a straight.
Despite this, Murphy was eliminated from the tournament a few hands later.
Action was picked up with Ginette Joron all in and at risk for 13,300 versus the covering stack of Anthony Kauzloric.
