Oleksii Buhrim claimed second and his only 500 chips behind Urrea, with 627,500. Buhrim was consistent throughout the day and featured in the top 10 chip counts throughout the day. The Ukrainian is an unknown in the poker world and doesn't have a Hendon Mob profile. A Google search of his name returned his LinkedIn profile, which says he works with metalworking tools and general technology. He will be gunning for his first recorded cash come Day 2.

Uzair Choudhary is another unfamiliar name to the European poker game. He bagged 595,000 for his efforts. Choudhary is another player free of a Hendon Mob profile but has played in tournaments in his native country of Canada.

For the home contingent, Jason Tompkins bagged 559,500 for his efforts. The experienced Irishman is back from a break from the tables but is back with a bang and will be a force to be reckoned with on Day 2. Tompkins has numerous cashes here in Dublin including seven wins. The largest score he had in Ireland was for €50,000 back in 2009. He was last seen making Day 2 of the Mystery Bounty this series.

Daniel Rezaei made it through on his second bullet of the day, securing 283,500 for his effort. PokerStars Ambassadors Fintan Hand (280,500) and Sebastian Huber (216,000) both progressed to Day 2.

Notables who will have to go again on Day 1d or 1e include but are not limited to: [Removed:553], Jamie Dwan, Marcel Kessler and Stephen Song.

Once again the structure remains unchanged when Day 1d kicks off tomorrow at 12 p.m. local time.

As always stay tuned to PokerNews as the excitement continues to build as Day 2 quickly approaches.
