Proudfoot First to Fall as Nguyen Ships Huge One
Govert Metaal raised to 600 in middle position before Christopher Nguyen made it 2,000 in the cutoff. Jonathan Proudfoot then four-bet to 9,700 from the big blind, which only Nguyen called.
The pair went to a flop of 3♣6♣5♣. Proudfoot continued for 4,500, but was rasied to 10,000 by Nguyen. Proudfoot called to the 7♥ turn, which he checked.
Nguyen fired a bet of 20,000 and snap-called when Proudfoot moved all in for 75,000 or so. Proudfoot could only laugh as the pair tabled their cards.
