The deck provided a sweat when Nguyen flopped a flush draw on J♦A♦3♠. The rest of the 6♣Q♣ runout remained free of diamonds, however, seeing Dwan double up to just under 12 big blinds.
Michel Molenaar open-jammed his 164,000 chips from the hijack. Govert Metaal called all-in for 130,000 in the small blind, after which big blind Jamie Dwan also came along, covering both opponents.

Molenaar was in dire shape, but flopped two pair on A♦7♦K♣ for a gigantic lead. The 8♦ turn gave Metaal a flush draw, but it was not to be on the 2♠ river.
Molenaar raked in the big pot, eclipsing the average stack and eliminating Metaal. Dwan, meanwhile, was left with just under eight big blinds.
At the same time, Day 1 chipleader Mengshi Tian busted from the other table, falling to new chipleader Adrian Cazacu .
Adrian Cazacu had opened to 24,000 from middle position when Jorge Artiga-Pacheco jammed his stack of 215,000 in from the small blind. Cazacu made a quick call, and the cards were tabled.

Adrian Cazacu in middle position and Mengshi Tian on the button were heads-up on a 8♥J♦6♠ flop. With 130,000 in the middle, Cazacu checked to Tian, who fired a bet of 40,000.
Cazacu counted his chips before announcing an all-in bet of 271,000. Tian went into the tank, spending one time extension before finding a fold and giving up on the pot.
In early position, Jonathan Proudfoot was seen tossing his last T-5,000 chip into a pot of 120,000. The flop read 8♣4♣2♣, and he was called by Jorge Artiga-Pacheco in the cutoff and [Removed:548] in the small blind.
Artiga-Pacheco and [Removed:549] then checked the 8♥J♣ runout through to showdown. Proudfoot tabled A♣6♦ for ace-high, besting the A♦3♦ of Artiga-Pacheco.
[Removed:549], however, had A♥Q♣ for the best kicker, winning the pot and eliminating Proudfoot from the Super High Roller.
Anton Bergstrom pushed in his stack of 135,000 from middle position. Govert Metaal isolated from the cutoff, and the players showed down heads-up.
