Tyler Kenney just made note of the number of qualifiers in the field in the early going here.
Throughout the Hollywood Poker Open's fourth season, upwards of of 180 seats into this Championship Event were won, and Kenney said by the looks of it, almost all those players are here today.
Kenney was picked to play on his brother Brynn Kenney's New York Rounders Global Poker League squad last year, and immediately began kicking butt against some tough competition over there.
However, professional players are often attracted to qualifier heavy fields hoping to be in the right place, at the right time, when someone in for a discount, or on a freeroll, is looking to get creative.
As a result, Kenney sharply chose the Hollywood Poker Open Season 4 Championship berry patch over events like the $10k Six Max at the WSOP.
"I don't want to play against guys like my brother," he laughed.
