We have just been told about a big hand over on the feature live streaming table which saw Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel eliminated at the hands of Australian Jeff Rossiter.

The final hand of Duhamel's tournament saw the 2010 WSOP Main Event champion all-in preflop holding against the of Rossiter. The board gave Duhamel a little bit of a sweat, but alas, it wasn't meant to be as Duhamel was sent packing after starting the day as the chip leader.

A big hand recently took place over on Table Four. We arrived at the action with Richard Yong already all in for around 3 million, while Brian Powell was also already all in for his stack in excess of 3.5 million. At this point recent GDAM Warm-Up champion Nick Wong was in the tank, having committed around 1 million before Yong and Powell had moved all in.

"This doesn't make sense!" said Wong as he stood out of his chair. Eventually he opted to let his hand go and it turned out to be a good decision with Yong tabling and Powell turning over .

The board was a safe one for Powell and just like that he had stormed up the chip leader board, now sitting with around 8 million in chips. Yong on the other hand finds himself on the rail.

Ike Sends Another One Home

Isaac Haxton can not be stopped. His most recent exploits have seen him rake in all of Hong-Kong based Aussie David Steicke's chips. The hand saw Steicke shove for just under 1.5 million from early position holding and Haxton made the call with his from the big blind.

Steicke hit a pair of sevens on the flop, but Haxton hit a pair of nines to stay in front. With a turn and a river, that was Steicke's tournament in the bag.

Haxton is now on around 17 million and continues to well and truly hold a big chip lead over his nearest competitor.

Lim Gone, Play Slowing

We have just been told that Australia's Aaron Lim has been eliminated at the hands of Pratyush Buddiga over on the feature table. The somewhat short-stacked Lim was all in preflop holding and Buddiga held . The board ran out and Buddiga sent Lim to the rail.

Despite the relatively shallow chip stacks, over here in the main tournament area the play has seemed to slow down. The most exciting hand that we have managed to witness was when JC Alvarado three-bet all in from the big blind after Sorel Mizzi opened it up with a min raise from early position. Mizzi tanked and eventually folded and that was that.

World Champ No More

The reigning WSOP Main Event champion has just been eliminated late here on Day 2 of the GDAM Main Event. Merson's final hand behan when Igor Kurganov opened the hijack to 400,000. Merson called out of the big blind and the dealer flipped over a flop.

Merson checked here and Kurganov led for 500,000. Back on Merson and he went deep into the tank before announcing an all in. It was around 4 million to call, which Kurganov did quick smart, prompting the two players to turn their hands over.

Merson got out of his seat at the sight of Kurganov's superior hand and then made his way out of the tournament area when a turn and a river completed the board. Kurganov was down to under 2 million not too long ago, but is now near the top of the chip leader board with an eight-figure chip stack.
