Dinner Time

Nível 4 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante

The fourth level of the day is over and the players have been sent on a 65-minute dinner break. As we type this we can see plenty of players scrambling to make a rebuy (add-on). We will have all the updated rebuy, entrants and prize pool information posted once all the math has been done and the players are back from their break.

See you back here soon poker fans.

Rebuys Start Coming

Nível 4 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante

With the dinner break just a few minutes away, the players are starting to fire away with plenty of rebuys. One player who has certainly taken advantage of this is 2010 WSOP Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel as he recently coughed up HK$2,000,000 and received a double-rebuy. Duhamel had recently lost the majority of his chips to Erik Seidel and so only has a small amount more than 2 million in chips.

Second Rebuy for Hansen

Nível 4 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante

Gus Hansen has just used his second and final rebuy. We didn't catch all the action, but when we arrived at the table Hansen had 333,000 out on front of him from the hijack position, while Sven Heinecker had 145,000 out in front of him on the button. At this point Heinecker slid out a giant stack of 100,000-denomination chips, which was enough to put Hansen all in. Hansen had around 500,000 behind and was squirming in his seat as he contemplated his decision.

After tanking for a few minutes, Hansen said: "It's really that bad."

"I can still rebuy, right?" Hansen added to nobody in particular.

Eventually Hansen flicked out the call and Heinecker tabled his {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Hansen gave a slight sigh as he turned over {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} board gave Hansen a bit of a sweat to a straight on the flop, but with no help on the turn or river, Hansen handed over HK$1,000,000 and made a rebuy.

Time for Deeb to Rebuy

Nível 4 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante

With an open to 30,000 and two flat-calls behind him, Shaun Deeb opted to move all in for 413,000 from the button. Hai San Lin was next to act from the small blind and made the call, while the three other players in the hand got out of the way. With Deeb at risk, he and Lin turned their hands over.

Lin: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Deeb: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

While the {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop wasn't great for Deeb, it did give him some outs to a chopped pot. However unfortunately for Deeb the {6-Spades} turn and the {3-Hearts} river weren't what he was looking for and he was down to zero chips. That is until Deeb pulled out a stack of ten HK$100,000 plaques from his pocket and made the re-buy. Back to a millie for Deeb.

Sorel Wins a Good One

Nível 4 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante

With the board reading {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, Sorel Mizzi was first to act here on the turn and led for 68,000. Mizzi's one opponent was Mikael Thuritz, who opted to make the call.

The final card to hit the felt was a {j-Clubs} and this time Mizzi bet 158,000. Thuritz thought for only a few moments before making the call. At showdown, Mizzi tabled {7-Spades}{4-Spades}, with the two pair strong enough to send Thuritz's cards into the muck.

Mizzi is now cruising on 1.3 million, while despite losing this hand, Thuritz, from Sweden, is still going strong with a stack of 1.7 million.

Hansen Taking Watson's Chips

Nível 3 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Gus Hansen and Mike Watson have just played out a hand over on their table, the result of which sees Watson down to just 330,000 in chips.

We arrived at the action with a turn card being dealt on the {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} board and with Hansen betting 101,000 into a pot of around 200,000. Watson tanked before calling and the dealer flipped over a {5-Spades} river.

Hansen didn't hesitate here, making it 211,000 to go. Watson had around 330,000 behind at this point and didn't look too excited as he opted to let his cards go and send the pot to Hansen.
