Thiago Nishijima Puts the Mets Up 2-1

Thiago Nishijima took game three of the series after he got all in with queen-high against the ace-high of Maria Ho. Ho was the first person to reach the Hot Seat. Each player is allotted 18 minutes of total time to make decisions and when that time is up, the players have four seconds to make any one decision.

There was a little confusion when she entered the Hot Seat, since Ho didn't realize she had run out of time. Her hand was folded quickly after and on the next hand she quickly got all in with ace-jack.

Kornuth Evens the Series

Chance Kornuth and Joao Bauer have played the longest match in the GPL Playoffs so far approaching 50 hands. Kornuth won a big hand with ace-nine against ace-five, leaving Bauer with ten big blinds.

Bauer then doubled up two times before finally getting all in with jack-ten against the ace-king of Kornuth. Despite flopping a jack, Bauer couldn't fade the {k-Spades} on the river and Kornuth evened the series at one game apiece.
