Pascal Lefrancois Defeats Sorel Mizzi, Gives Nationals 4-2 Series Lead

Pascal Lefrancois has defeated Sorel Mizzi in game #6 of the GPL championship.

Pascal Lefrancois remains undefeated in the cube and has been a massive boon to his team since arriving late in round one of the GPL playoffs. He continued his great play when he gradually built a lead over Sorel Mizzi before finishing him off to put the Montreal Nationals two wins away from becoming the first GPL Champions.

On one of the last few hands, Mizzi made a flush, holding the {6-Clubs} on a four-club board. He bet 26,000 of his remaining 170,000 on the river.

"Now would be a great time for one of those hero bluff all-in type situations," Mizzi said.

Lefrancois followed his advice, shoved all in and Mizzi folded. Lefrancois went on to win the match a few hands later.
