David Yan enters the final table as the table captain with a chip leading stack of 10.9 million in chips. That being said, it is anyone's game, especially considering how closely bunched the top of the leaderboard is with poker legends Davidi Kitai and Niklas Astedt on his tail.
Yan was the only player besides Andrii "Brahman33" Novak to qualify to the Main Event via satellites to advance to the final table. That didn't stop either player to re-enter after losing all their chips with Yan firing three bullets before catapulting into the chip lead and Novak, who enters the final table in fourth place, firing two bullets.
One big story to follow is whether Eelis Parssinen can push his eighth place stack into a podium finish. Last week, Parssinen was runner-up in the $3 million guaranteed HRW 02: $10,300 Super MILLION$ for a massive $472,222 payday.
Aleksei "JokerFace" Barkov, who enters the action in sixth place, is also another big story as this was his first appearance in a Super MILLION$ event. Barkov ran up his second bullet into the chip lead and was near the top of the leaderboard throughout the second half of Day 1.
Other big names at the final table include Michael Watson, Aleksei "JokerFace" Barkov, Sergei "iplaytooslow" Denisov, and Aleks Ponakovs.
