Cheong Gets Little Hope

Nível 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Joseph Cheong shoved on the button for 260K over a cutoff open by Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov, who called with a motley {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. That was live against {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} though, and Cheong watched helplessly as {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades} flopped to doom him after he bricked the turn.

Smiljkovic Busts Chidwick

Nível 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

A welcome sight for all opponents as the very strong Stephen Chidwick has been eliminated. He three-bet all in for 557K in the big blind over a middle-position open by Daniel Smiljkovic, who called with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

He was dominating Chidwick's {a-Spades}{5-Spades}. The British legend flopped a five but improved no further.

Aido Staying Hot

Nível 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Ramon Miquel shoved all in for about 360K in middle position and it folded to big blind Sergio Aido, in there with a quick call holding {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. Miquel showed a leading {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} but saw a {2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop that gave Aido a big lead. The {q-Spades} and {9-Hearts} were no help to Miquel.

Big Come-Up for Hyman

Nível 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Matthew "Nator" Hyman shoved for 283K in middle position and was called by big blind Timofey Kuznetsov.

Hyman: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Kuznetsov: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board was clean for Hyman.

The next hand, Mike Watson opened for 55,000 under the gun and Hyman shoved for just over 600,000 a couple of seats over. Wei Zhao called on the button and everyone else folded.

Hyman: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Zhao: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Hyman flopped an ace to bust Zhao, who had about 250K, and Watson showed the {a-Diamonds} at hand's conclusion.

Holz Has a Shot

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Fedor Holz came in with one of the shortest stacks, under five big blinds. He got them in right away from under the gun with {a-Hearts}{3-Spades} and was at risk against Ole Schemion, who had {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} in the cutoff.

The {3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{a-Spades} was great for Holz but the {10-Hearts} turn was not. He faded the combo draw on the river, though.

Welcome to Day 2 of GGSF Super MILLION$ ME-H: $10,300, $10M GTD

Samuel Vousden

One of the biggest online poker events of the year, GGPoker Spring Festival Super MILLION$ ME-H: $10,300, $10M GTD, has gotten through five starting flights and is set for Day 2 action.

Out of 1,089 entries — which allowed the tournament to surpass its ambitious $10 million guarantee at a total of $10.89 million — 156 have advanced to play for their share of that mouth-watering prize pool. A vast majority of them will get a slice as 125 are slated to be paid.

The eventual winner will receive $1,537,605, but that won't come for a couple of days as the final table plays out Tuesday in front of a livestream audience on the GGPoker channels.

In the mean time, as expected in a big buy-in online event, the Day 2 field is filled with killers. The likes of Sergio Aido, Samuel Vousden, Ami Barer, Mike Watson, Ole Schemion, David Peters, Timothy Adams and Dan Smith are just some of the big names with above average stacks.

Play kicks off at 4:05 p.m. EDT with 10,000/20,000/2,500 as the first level of action. Stay tuned to PokerNews to see who emerges for the final table on Tuesday.
