Rudolph Gets Big Chip Up Blind on Blind

Pablo Navarro raised the small blind to 13.5K, then shoved for 147,686 after Christian Rudolph raised it to 37.8K.

Christian Rudolph: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Pablo Navarro: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Board: {9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Navarro turned a jack but it wasn't enough against the kings.

Poirier Gets Big One on River

Nível 14 : 2,250/4,500, 550 ante

Joakim Andersson raised the button to 9.9K, and M LeBlanc Poirier defended the big blind. Poireir check-raised the {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop from 8,729 to 30,244.

Andersson called to the {10-Spades} turn, where he called again after Poirier fired 53.85K. Poireir shoved for more than 180K on the {2-Hearts} river, and got the fold.

Rudolph Takes it on River

Nível 14 : 2,250/4,500, 550 ante

Jeff "DollarVig" Berwick raised the cutoff to 9K, and Christian Rudolph called from the big blind. The flop was {3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and they both checked to the {j-Clubs} turn. Rudolph bet 18,058 and got called, but got the fold when he bet 96,750 on the {3-Diamonds} river.

Well, the best hand won!
Well, the best hand won!

Marc "Face-O" Carola raised to 8,000 in middle position and Aliaksei Boika, who made his third Super MILLION$ final table in a row earlier this week, three-bet shoved 106,193 from the small blind. Ankush Mandavia cold-called the shove from the big blind and Carola called all in for 67,372 to create a three-way showdown.

Marc "Face-O" Carola: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Aliaksei Boika: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Ankush Mandavia: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Boika smashed the {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop to hit top set and take a commanding lead in the hand. However, the {q-Diamonds} on the turn was the two outer Carola needed and he took over for the main pot.

Two outs could still win it for Mandavia and sure enough, the {k-Hearts} was burned and turned to turn the best hand at the start into the best hand at the finish as well.

Guillaume Nolet Wins First GG Spring Festival $25K ($1,084,892)

Guillaume Nolet
Guillaume Nolet

The first seven-figure payday of the 2021 GG Spring Festival has been granted and it was Guillaume Nolet opening the record-breaking series in style. He defeated Andras Nemeth in Event H-06: $25,500 Sunday Five Million to score the top prize of $1,084,892.

Nemeth had to settle for a consolation prize of $813,554 in the field of 198 entries.

The joint most expensive tournament of the festival came up short of the ambitious $5 million guarantee by just $50,000 and eight of the nine finalists earned six-figure prizes. With so much money on the line, it still only took fewer than 2 1/2 hours to determine a champion.
