Dzivielevski Wins Small Pot; Leikkonen Collects Big One

Nível 35 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Christian Jeppsson raised to 220,000 in the cutoff and Yuri Dzivielevski called on the button. The duo headed to the {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop on which Jeppsson bet 213,900 and Dzivielevski called. The {k-Hearts} turn and {a-Clubs} river were checked, Jeppsson tabled {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Dzivielevski won the pot with {10-Spades}{8-Spades}.

The next hand saw Daniel Dvoress with a raise to 220,000 and Markus Leikkonen filled up out of the big blind. The flop brought {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Leikkonen check-called for 150,000. He did so again for 500,000 on the {k-Clubs} turn and check-called for 1,070,000 on the {5-Spades} river. Dvoress rolled over the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} but Leikkonen had that beat with {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a flush.

Leikkonen Is "Running Hot"

Nível 35 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Markus Leikkonen earned yet another pot when he flat-called a raise to 250,000 by "xyzpoker" and called a bet worth 187,500 on the {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop. "xyzpoker" then checked in the cutoff on the {2-Diamonds} turn and Leikkonen on the button made it 337,500 to go, shutting down his table neighbor.

Leikkonen then min-raised to 200,000 in the hijack and was called by George Wolff in the cutoff and Christian Jeppsson out of the big blind. As they checked to the {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} river, Leikkonen bet 225,000 and Jeppson was the only one to check-call.

Leikkonen revealed {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for aces and fives, earning the pot against the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of Jeppsson. A few seconds passed and the Finn then used the "running hot" emoji.

Leikkonen Wins in Showdown; Jeppsson Without

Nível 35 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Markus Leikkonen won the last pot of the previous level in a battle big blind versus button. Timothy Adams had raised to 188,000 and earned a call by Leikkonen. They checked to the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} river on which Leikkonen's bet of 148,800 was called. He tabled {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for two pair, which beat the {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} of Adams.

After the blinds went up, Daniel Dvoress min-raised and called a three-bet to 700,000 by Christian Jeppsson. The {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop was checked and Dvoress check-folded the {9-Spades} turn when facing a bet worth 857,000.

Konstantin Maslak
Konstantin Maslak

Blinds 40,000-80,000

Konstantin Maslak moved all-in for 775,407 in the cutoff as the smallest stack at the table. Yuri Dzivielevski called out of the small blind and Timothy Adams forfeited his big blind.

Konstantin Maslak: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

It was a fair flip for Maslak but he found no help on the {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs} board to become the 9th place finisher.

Leikkonen Catches Jeppsson Bluffing

Blinds 40,000-80,000

On the {2-Clubs} river, Jeppsson bet 433,800 into 610,000 and Leikkonen called.

Jeppsson flipped over {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a bluff and Leikkonen won the pot with the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

Coleman vs Dvoress
Coleman vs Dvoress

Daniel Dvoress jammed his chip leader stack from the button and David Coleman reluctantly called out of the small blind as the shortest stack for 509,750.

David Coleman: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Daniel Dvoress: {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Coleman paired his kicker to double.

Jeppsson and Dvoress Chip Up

Blinds 40,000-80,000

Konstantin Maslak raised to 184,000 and folded to a three-bet by "xyzpoker". Up next, Daniel Dvoress raised to 176,000 and was called by Christian Jeppsson and "xyzpoker" on the button. The {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop was checked by all three players and Jeppsson bet the {a-Clubs} turn for 388,780 to force two folds.

Dvoress won the chips back right after against Yuri Dzivielevski, who raised pre and bet the {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop for 153,780. Dvoress check-called and the {10-Spades} turn was checked. Dvoress bet the {8-Diamonds} river for 773,560 and Dzivielevski folded.

Dvoress Pulls Further Ahead

Blinds 40,000-80,000

The first big pot between the two chip leaders was brewing. Yuri Dzivielevski made it 168,000 to go from an early position and Daniel Dvoress flat-called on the button. On the {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, both players checked and the {k-Clubs} fell on the turn. Dzivielevski now bet 409,500 to earn a call and fired again for 450,450 on the {3-Diamonds} river.

Dvoress used his time bank and raised to 1,784,000, Dzivielevski snap-folded.

The next two pots also went to Dvoress, who cemented his status as chip leader.

Dvoress Beats Aces to Take the Lead

Blinds 40,000-80,000

Yuri Dzivielevski made it 168,000 to go and was called by "xyzpoker" on the button, George Wolff filled up from the big blind. No betting appeared on the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{k-Spades} board and Wolff won the pot with {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for trips kings.

"xyzpoker" then raised for 200,000 in the next hand and Daniel Dvoress matched that in the big blind. The {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop was checked and Dvoress bet the {10-Diamonds} turn for 336,000, his opponent called. Finally, the {8-Hearts} appeared on the river and Dvoress bet 304,000 into a pot of 1,202,000.

"xyzpoker" called with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Dvoress had that beat with the {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a straight.
