Yuri Dzivielevski Bags a Brace of GGPoker Titles

Brazilian superstar Yuri Dzivielevski is no stranger to finishing in first place in major poker tournaments. it is a regular occurrence for the two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner. Dzivielevski triumphed in not one but two GGPoker tournaments at GGPoker on March 28, his first victory coming in the $1,050 Omaholic High Roller side event.

Some 214 players bought in for $1,050 and Dzivelevski outlasted them all. The Brazilian found himself heads-up against Krasimir Yankov after the likes of Andreas Torbergsen, “Jnandez87”, and Leonid Yanovski busted out.

Dzivielevski and Yankov struck a deal that lead to the latter collecting $39,677. The day and $40,348 belonged to Dzivielevski, however.

Wiktor Malinowski raised to 7,040 from under the gun and Niklas Astedt called in the cutoff. "ronalds82" went all in for 18,890 in the big blind and Malinowski four-bet to 43,700. Astedt five-bet shoved 396,283 and Malinowski beat him to the punch with a call.

The flop brought a set for Astedt and gutshots for "ronalds82" and Malinowski. The Pole also had the case ace to win and landed it after the turn and river to jump to over 500k.

Thomas Muehloecker is sitting pretty at 420k after dispatching both Benjamin Chalot and Joao Vieira in short succession. In the first hand, Muehloecker got preflop all in against Chalot's and flopped a queen to make things a formality.

Next, he got rid of Vieira by once again picking up a pair of queens and holding against Vieira's ace-jack. Chalot hasn't reentered yet, while Vieira went for a third bullet.
