Jakub Slemr Eliminated in 9th Place (€72,210)

Nível 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Jakub Slemr
Jakub Slemr

Anton Bertilsson limped for 80,000 and chip leader Stephen Graner made it 230,000 to go on the button. Jakub Slemr reraised to 715,000 out of the big blind and Bertilsson squeezed out a four-bet to 1,400,000. Graner let go but Slemr moved all in for 2,370,000 to put himself at risk. Bertilsson called and a classic coin flip took place.

Bertilsson: {A-Hearts} {K-Spades}
Slemr: {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}

The Swede hit one of his two over cards on the {2-Clubs} {A-Spades} {10-Spades} flop and neither the {3-Hearts} turn nor the {J-Hearts} river improved Slemr anymore. The local hero was sent to the rail in 9th place for €72,210 and the official final table was set. Play will carry on until the end of this level or until the final six are reached, whatever comes first.

Back In Action

Nível 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

The cards are back in the air with the final eight.

Miltiadis Kyriakides opened for 160,000 and big blind Remi Castaignon made the call.

The flop was {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Kyriakides made it 175,000 to take the pot.

Big Stacks Clash

Nível 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Stephen Graner made it 160,000 and Anton Bertilsson defended his big blind so the two biggest stacks faced off in a pot.

The flop of {8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades} was checked and they saw the turn card fall the {10-Spades}.

Graner over-bet the pot for 475,000 and Bertilsson let it go.

Kyriakides Gets there on the River

Nível 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Miltiadis Kyriakides raised to 160,00 and was called by Simon Mattsson in the big blind. On the {4-Clubs} {2-Spades} {10-Hearts} flop, Kyriakides continued with a bet of 165,000 and Mattsson check-called to see the {6-Hearts} on the turn. Both players checked and then saw the {K-Clubs} on the river. The action was checked to Kyriakides again and the Greek studied the board before checking behind.

Mattsson turned over {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} but the Greek got there on the river with {K-Spades} {9-Spades}.

One for Graner

Nível 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Stephen Graner raised to 275,000 from early position and was called by Fabio Sperling in the cutoff, which prompted Graner to recheck his cards. They checked down the {7-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {5-Clubs} flop and the {Q-Hearts} turn, Graner then bet hefty 650,000 on the {10-Clubs} river and that was enough to win the pot without showdown.
