Hands #13-17: Top Pair for Mattsson

Nível 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #13: Anton Bertilsson raised to 200,000 from the hijack and Stephen Graner called from the small blind. Bjorn Wiesler three-bet to 710,000 out of the big blind with {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} and that got folds from both opponents. The German showed his pair of queens.

Hand #14: Graner min-raised to 200,000 from the button with {K-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} and Wiesler three-bet for the second time in a row, making it 625,000 to go from the small blind with {A-Hearts} {9-Spades}. Graner gave it some thought before four-betting to 1,125,000. This time, Wiesler mucked.

Hand #15: Wiesler raised to 205,000 from the button with {9-Clubs} {7-Spades} and Bertilsson called in the big blind with {7-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}. On the {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {3-Spades} flop, the Swede folded to a 175,000-continuation bet of Wiesler.

Hand #16: In the hijack seat, Graner raised to 200,000 with {K-Spades} {10-Clubs} and Simon Mattsson defended his big blind with {A-Spades} {J-Spades}. Mattsson check-called the {A-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {5-Clubs} flop for 150,000 and checked again on the {K-Clubs} turn. Graner checked behind and the {Q-Diamonds} river saw Mattsson grabbing some chips. The Swede bet 255,000 and was eventually paid off by Graner to claim a substantial pot com pared to his stack.

Hand #17: Graner min-raised to 200,000 with {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} and Wiesler called from one seat over with {6-Clubs} {6-Hearts}. The start-of-the-day chip leader found top pair on the {7-Spades} {K-Spades} {10-Diamonds} flop and checked, Wiesler checked behind. The {2-Spades} turn triggered a bet of 235,000 by Graner and that won the pot.
