Staszko Finds the Call

Action folded to Martin Staszko in the small blind and he completed out of his 30 big blind stack and Charles Carrel checked his option from the big blind.
The flop was 
and Staszko bet 1,000 getting a call from Carrel. On the turn card 
Staszko then check-called a bet of 1,300. The river saw the 
complete the board and Staszko again checked.
Carrel bet 7,000 and was given a puzzled look by Staszko. His attempt to get a read was somewhat hampered by the curtain of boy-band hair obscuring Carrel’s eyes but after a minute or so Staszko picked up the calling chips and defiantly put them over the line.
