Who Succeeds Ivan Soshnikov?
In 2010 the European Poker Tour debuted a high roller during the EPT Prague festival. Nichlas Mattsson came out on top of a 26 player field. Every year since the tournament has grown, and this year promises to be bigger than ever.
The Super High Roller at the start of the tournament saw 42 people enter and 9 players re enter for €50,000 each. Leonid Markin defeated Paul Newey heads up to grab the title and the €777,360 first place prize. This "regular" high roller will only be bigger! Let's take a look at the fields and winners since its inception in 2010:

We arrived at the table just as Joao Vieira checked his option from middle position. The board was reading 
and his opponent made it 3,000 to go from the cut off. Vieira made the call and both players then watched the 
fall on the turn.
Vieira would once again check-call a bet of 6,000 before the dealer produced the 
on the river. Facing another check, the player in the cut off led out for 9,000. He sat forward in his chair with his arms crossed waiting on Vieira to make a decision.
Over two minutes passed before Vieira reached for his chips and raised it up to 24,000. His opponent didn’t reply instantly, taking his time before finally making the call.
