Two Big Hands from Just Before the Break
There were two big hands that unfolded right before the break.
In the first, Dmitry Kataev got his short stack all in preflop holding the 
and was looking to crack the

made it possible as Kataev picked up a flush draw, but he was left wanting as the

Meanwhile, on the last hand of the level, Bjorn Wiesler, who was in the big blind, got his stack of 112,000 all in preflop and was in dire straits against Martin Jacobson.

turn. Wiesler needed a ten for the outright double, and much to Jacobson's dismay, he found it when the spiked on the river. Needless to say, it wasn't how the reigning World Series of Poker Main Event champ hope to go to the break.
