It turns out the people behind the scenes at EPT Malta found a button to press which shows the average amount of money earned per player during the EPT Malta Festival. No prizes to guess which country tops the list, as the PokerStars Blog reports.
Hand #72: Valentin Messina opened to 425,000 from the small blind with

in the small blind. The PokerStars sponsored player three-bet to 850,000 and Montury woke up with 
one seat over in the big blind. Montury four-bet to 2.085 million and that quickly got Messina out of the way.
Panka started the hand with around 4.7 million in chips and did get away from it.

Montury thought for a bit and then announced, "Call." Messina sheepishly showed his deuce-seven, and Montury rolled over the winner.

Panka stared straight towards the dealer, showing no emotion at all behind his sunglasses while Messina glanced over at him and this resulted in a fold of the Frenchman.
Hand #96: Montury folded a king on the button and Messina limped the small blind with . Panka checked his option on the big blind with and paired up his six on the flop. The PokerStars sponsored player bet 250,000 and won the second pot in a row, though remains the shortest stack just over 5 million in chips.
Hand #97: Messina opened to 425,000 from the button with and Montury called out of the small blind with . Neither player hit the flop and Montury faced a continuation bet of 450,000 to check-fold.

Both players checked and the turn made Montury led for 475,000 chips. Messina grabbed green T-100,000 chips for a hefty raise and it was 1.475 million in total, which prompted a fold from his fellow Frenchman.
